Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of CustomerGPT. By accessing or using CustomerGPT, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
Effective date: June 12, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using CustomerGPT, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you use CustomerGPT on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Description of Service
CustomerGPT is an AI-powered customer support, chatbot automation, and platform integration service. Features may include AI chatbot training, vector indexing of FAQs and documents, custom embeddable chat widgets, and lead generation analytics.
Some features may be modified, limited, or discontinued over time as we improve the service.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use certain features, you must register an account and provide accurate, complete information.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or use CustomerGPT under supervision and consent where required by local law.
5. Subscription Plans, Billing, and Credits
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless canceled before renewal. CustomerGPT uses Paddle as our secure payment gateway and merchant of record. You authorize CustomerGPT and Paddle to process subscription fees, taxes, and applicable transaction charges.
Where credit-based features are offered (such as monthly message counts or vector index limits), credits are non-transferable and may reset or expire according to your plan rules.
6. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellation
Refund eligibility and processing are governed by our Refund Policy at /refund. All payments, transaction processing, and refund requests are securely handled through Paddle.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges, and paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We may update pricing. Material pricing changes for active subscribers apply on a future billing cycle after notice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CustomerGPT to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, perform fraud, distribute malicious code, or interfere with service operations.
You may not attempt unauthorized access, resell the service without permission, or use automated extraction methods to scrape the platform.
8. Intellectual Property and Content
The CustomerGPT platform, including software, branding, and core service components, is owned by CustomerGPT or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the inputs, FAQ answers, and documents you submit. You grant CustomerGPT a limited license to host, process, and use that content to provide and improve the service.
AI output may be similar across users and is provided as generated by the system. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
CustomerGPT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
CustomerGPT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CustomerGPT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability for claims arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid to CustomerGPT during the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CustomerGPT harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using CustomerGPT at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for policy violations, security risks, non-payment, or legal compliance reasons.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which CustomerGPT operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
